A true story: When I was born the doctors gave my mother an Epidural needle incorrectly causing her endless pain and back problems. She was sedated and I was taken from her. She panicked and begged for me but the doctors and nurses were too busy and understaffed ignoring her. Due to over crowding in the nursery I was not put with the other infants but rather in a quiet room all by my self. For the first two weeks of my life I had no human contact accept for nurses feeding me when the schedule allowed. My mother cried the entire two weeks and her rage finally over powered her pain and she took me home. Maybe this is why I like to be by myself and maybe why I like pain?...
When I was a child I was always scared and wanted to run off and join the circus… Be apart of something special and entertaining to children~ seeing as I was always upset and would cry myself to sleep. Adults were always mean and deceptive and unaccountable, they still are more then ever, but children’s laughter is pure. I never want to think of kids crying by themselves in a cold and desolate rural house like I did haunted by an overactive imagination. Running off to join the circus… Nicholai Diablo made that dream come true. Sinn would NOT be the Human Dart Board or Electric Chairman if not for Carnival Diablo…
Nicholai and I met on location of the Zombie King film shoot in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His current strongman, Stephen, a 7 foot lanky man with Gigantism had retired from performing at Nicholai’s Carnival Diablo Side Show and the job was open… I guess Creepy Nick Diablo figured an insane wrestler would be a great replacement for an eccentric giant in the world of masochism and horror…
Nicholai was impressed with what punishment I could endure in the ring and offered me the job. We discussed the idea of SiNN joining Carnival Diablo at his documented ‘haunted’ mansion located on the beaches of Toronto (Yes, you Americans, Toronto AND many other parts of Canada have beaches!). He was impressed how I had liked to electrocute myself as a form of relaxing (practicing on car batteries and electric fences etc…) Nicholai introduced me to Ol’ Bettcy, an Electric Chair purchased from a state pen in Peoria, IL. It had killed eight men before it was purchased by Creepy Nick and brought out of retirement. It takes a lot of practice to enjoy pain. For all you doubting electricians out there: There are 100,000 volts coursing thru Ol’ Bettcy, BUT!!!... It’s NOT the volts that will getcha, it’s the amps! 1 amp will kill a grown man, 2 amps will kill a horse and little old me gets jacked with 4 amps… I like my steak medium rare but myself well done!
Nicholai Diablo has taught me everything I know about the carnival and the wonder of side show and I owe him a lot. Devil bless Carnival Diablo…
