Nicholas Sinn
One of North America’s top independent wrestlers, Nicholas Sinn has created a persona that, when accompanied by his considerable in-ring prowess, has brought him international acclaim. Visually Sinn is "Satan goes to Hollywood" – a real life superhero, or super villain, depending on his mood. In the ring he is an eccentric with a taste for punishment who isn’t afraid to kick, bite or punch his way to victory.

Currently working as the tag team Beasts of Burden with in-ring partner Hellvis, Sinn has appeared on independent dates across Canada throughout 2005. Having wrestled for both TNA and WWE at various points in his career, Sinn has developed a significant following who appreciate his colourful delivery alongside his skilful use of submissions, chain wrestling and martial arts. He has taken on some of wrestling’s most infamous characters, including Jake “The Snake” Roberts, King Kong Bundy, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Road Warrior Hawk, Jerry “The King” Lawler and many others.

He has appeared on NWA-TNA Pay Per Views as a member of the New Church along with Slash, Vampiro and Father Jim Mitchell and taken on the likes of Val Venis and Hardcore Bob Holly in matches for WWE Heat and Velocity television shows. In November 2005 he wrestled on TNA Xplosion, tagging with Hellvis.

In June 2005, Sinn turned his sights to booking, creating Warrior-1 Wrestling and putting together a debut card at The Oshawa Civic Auditorium that featured some of wrestling’s top stars, including Mick Foley, Raven, Samoa Joe, Kid Kash and Chris Sabin. The event was a success and Sinn hopes it will become an annual event.

When he is not in the wrestling ring, Sinn has gained notoriety as the resident strongman in Carnival Diablo’s Sideshow. Participating in tortuous rituals of pain tolerance, the 6’2” grappler makes audiences cringe as darts are thrown into the tattooed wings on his back and he lights a torch with the electricity arching from his tongue in the Electric Chair. In November 2005 the troupe was featured on a special that aired on Canada’s Discovery Network.

Growing up in Orangeville, ON Nick Cvjetkovich was an artistic, creative child who always felt slightly left of centre from his peers. His father, Mike, was a nationally ranked martial artist who competed in karate tournaments throughout North America and his mother, Linda, a schoolteacher, is also a multi-degreed black belt and karate instructor. While he followed in his parent’s footsteps athletically, earning a black belt in martial arts, Nick felt the lure of the squared circle from an early age.

Two of his best friends growing up, Adam Copeland and Jay Reso, shared his passion and the three actively trained to become professional wrestlers. Copeland, who now wrestles as Edge in WWE, and Reso, who is Christian Cage in TNA, have been huge motivators and encouraged Nick to continue pursuing a wrestling career.

After training at Sully’s Gym in Toronto under Rob Fuego and Joe E. Legend, he made his professional debut at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, ON in an Iron Man Tournament in August of 2000. Quickly developing a reputation for his flamboyant costumes and martial arts influenced wrestling style, Nick began playing up both elements and his Sinn persona was quickly born.

Not content just to develop as a wrestler, Nicholas Sinn is also an accomplished comic book author. In 1999 he began Happy Predator Publications, where he wrote and illustrated six issues of Fred the Possessed Flower, a comic book series about a demonic flower in charge of the marketing of corporate Hell. In early 2000, he published a full-length humour book, Fred the Possessed Flower: To Hell in a Flower Basket. And later that year, alongside his brother Stevan, who is also involved in the wrestling industry as a trainer for Squared Circle Training, published the comedy-horror novel, Between Chapters.

A multi-talented individual, Nicholas Sinn has used his artistic flare and athletic ability to create one of wrestling’s most charismatic characters. Catch him at wrestling events across North America or at performances of Carnival Diablo.
