Q/ What is the funniest thing you can remember about Carnival Diablo?
A/ The first time Nikolai Diablo accompanied me to the ring as my wrestling manager: I was wrestling Team Canada's Eric Young from Spike TV's TNA Wrestling - I beat the crap out of Eric but got distracted by Angel Williams, his valet at the time - Needless to say Eric stole the victory. After the 1,2,3, Nikolai hoped up onto the ring aprin screaming bloody murder - He was so focused on the ref he didn't see Eric Young's fist flying at him - Nikolai flew through the air and hit the concrete floor face first only to be dragged back to the locker room by his hair (coutesy of me)- Needless to say, he was pretty pissed!
Q/ What feat do your preform at Carnival Diablo that terrifies you most?
A/ You would think getting electricuted in the chair or having Nikolai throwing darts at my back, but blowing up the balloon bunny without a doubt - I passed out once (due to dehydration) practicing making that stupid little balloon animal - waking up moments later to find everyone looking down at me in horror. I hate that fuckin' bunny!
Q/ What is the freakest thing about working at Carnival Diablo?
A/ Jason Quek, the Impaler. Just watching him drink coffee is creepy.
Q/ How did you become a part of Carnival Diablo?
A/ I was one of the pro wrestlers acting and doing stunts in Enter Zombie King, an ultra-campy horror movie about Zombies fighting Mexican wrestlers, Nikolai was doing a camio in the movie an was in the market for a new Strongman for his sideshow. I guess he figured a crazy wrestler with a very high threshold for pain was a good choice for the job. We were creatively on the same page and the rest is history.
Q/ What do you do when you are not on the Carnival Diablo stage?
A/ I am a pro wrestler and spend most of my time on the road. I have wrestled all over the States, Canada, England and Puerto Rico. I have wrestled everyone from Jake 'The Snake' Roberts to King Kong Bundy to Val Venis.
Q/ How do you feel about the preformers you work with?
A/ It's funny that we are all freaked out by one another. I think Vanessa eating bugs is the ickiest thing ever... Vanessa is freaked out by Nikolai hammering a nail into his nose... Nikolai is baffled at how much physical punishment I can take... Ishtvan is mesmerised with watching sparks fly out of Jenica's vagina... They are all supportive and fun and really welcomed me into Carnival Diablo.
Q/ What is your favorite thing about Carnival Diablo?
A/ Just like being in the wrestling ring, I love taking people on an emotional rollercoster. I love watching them go through happy, mad, sad and back again as we do incredible things with our bodies and minds.
Q/ Being an expert in pain tolerance... What has been the most painful thing that you have endured?
A/ I had my ACL, which is the main tendant in your knee, ripped clean off the bone in a wrestling match with Road Warrior Hawk. That really sucked, but wrestling for ten more minutes sucked ten times worse!
Q/ Why do you have tattooed wings covering your back?
A/ They are not just a target for Nicholia to through darts at... They are simply an expression of me being a polite anarchist. I do what I want, when I want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone in the process.
Q/ What is next for Carnival Diablo?
A/ I would like to see a Carnival Diablo movie! Man, they sure are gonna have to find one ugly actor to play me and an even uglier actor to play Nikolai!
