Mega Metal - SiNN The Carnival Freak Interview:
Mega Metal: Name? How did you decide on your character's name?
SiNN: SiNN. I wanted a name that would represent that humans suck and I hate them.
Mega Metal: Personal stats? Height/Weight/Age/Etc
SiNN: 236 pounds 6ft 1' and 666 years old
Mega Metal: Company you are currently working for?
SiNN: I have done work for TNA, WWE Heat and Velocity. I go where the bookings take me...
Mega Metal: How long have you been wrestling?
SiNN: I trained in 1999 and have been working ever since.
Mega Metal: Where did you train?
SiNN: Sully's Gym in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I was trained by Rob Fuego who now owns Squared Circle Training in Toronto. I still train there when I have time. He is a great instructor.
Mega Metal: How long did you train before you wrestled your first match in front of a crowd?
SiNN: I trained for about a year but I had several matches locally in Toronto while I was still training full time.
Mega Metal: Do you remember that match and what was the out come?
SiNN: Techically my very first match was against this lame Fonzy-from Happy Days-Night At the Roxbury dork. He'd do the Night at the Roxbury head nodding dance that was pretty fun except he never ment it to be funny.
Mega Metal: Was it everything you had hoped it was?
SiNN: It was fun. The guy I wrestled thought he was the Rock but he was really more like Potsie Weber. I probably wasn't much better, whereing a pair of Christian Cage's hand-me-downs and boots.
Mega Metal: Who inspired you to get into the wrestling business?
SiNN: Edge and Christian.
Mega Metal: Do you ever have any regrets about getting in the biz?
SiNN: A fellow wrestler told me when i first started training that in the wrestling business I would meet some of the nicest and some of the meanest people in the world. HE WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!
Mega Metal: What is the biggest misconception about your job?
SiNN: That it is fake. Storylines are storylines. good guys, bad guys, whatever? If people want to be assholes and goof on how fake it is, then get in the ring mother fucker! Wrestling is hard! Closelines! Dropkicks! Back Drops! Chair shots! Bumps! That's NOT sports entetainment concrete out there!!! Yeah, people know David Copperfield didn't actually pull the rabbit outta his ass, BUT, they are entertained at the mystery!
Mega Metal: What are some of the ups and downs about being a pro wrestler?
SiNN: It is hard on your family and relationships when you spend so much time on the road. The business has contributed to the end of several of my relationships. How dare girlfriends expect you to spend time with them!?!?
Mega Metal: What federations have you worked for?
SiNN: I have woirked all over Canada, USA, UK, Puerto Rico... There are way too many places to list. BCW, WXW, BSE, AllStar UK... One of my favorites is working for Jerry 'The King' Lawler in Memphis, TN. when you're in the locker room with the Rock'n Roll Express, Ko Ko B ware, Jimmy Hart, The King, Kamala, Visera, Bill Dundee, etc... You can't help but learn a tone and have a tone of fun. Wrestling in the Memphis Colleseum where so many famous wrestlers wrer before you is very cool.
Mega Metal: Do you have a favorite independent federation?
SiNN: (BSE) Blood, Sweat and Ears is my trainers wrestling promotion in Toronto. They always have an excellent rock band to play at intermission (hence the 'Ears'). Awesome wrestlers like Abyss, Rhyno, Chris Sabin, Chris Daniels, Team Canada, Monty Brown, and tones of others wrestle there.

Mega Metal: Are there any new wrestlers that you see potential in?
SiNN: James Champagne, Cody 45, Xtremo, Shantelle
Mega Metal: What is your finishing move?
SiNN: The Pheoria Electric Chair, a modified Electric Chair. (Named from the Electric Chair I get chare-broiled in at Carnival Diablo. The Chair is originally from the state prison in Pheoria, IL)
Mega Metal: Have you had any major injuries?
SiNN: Torn ACL, broken nose, brokes toes, bone chips in my elbows, concussions, sprained lower lumbar, internal bleading in my right shin, torn thumb tendant... Just another day at the office.
Mega Metal: If Yes, What was it like not being able to wrestle?
SiNN: It completely blows!!! It feeds your drive insanely to get back to what you love to do.
Mega Metal: When you were cleared to wrestle again what was that match like for you?
SiNN: I was anxious. I was tagging with Crazy Steve , a blind Canadian cruiser weight relying on radar like some sort of man-bat!!! And in his first match ever! I didn't know if my knee would pop outta the bone the second I took a bump. But my second match back I was surrviving 240 pounds of Julio Deniro flying over the top rope at me during a TNA PPV in Nashville.
Mega Metal: Who are your favorite all-time wrestlers?
SiNN: Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, Ricky Steamboat, Macho Man Randy Savage, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Ric Flair, Midnight Express, Fit Finley, Bob Orton, Buddy Rose, Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect, British Bulldogs, Killer Bees (I could keep going!)
Mega Metal: If you had the chance to wrestle anyone in the Biz, Who would that be and why?
SiNN: MachMan Randy Savage because he has awesome in-ring presence and psychology... FREAK OUT! FREAK OUT! OHH YEAH!!!
Mega Metal: Do you have a MySpace Page our readers can checkout?
SiNN: www.myspace.com/theoriginalsinn
See the latest on the Beasts of Burden: SiNN and HELLViS
Mega Metal: How much involved in it are you?
SiNN: I do my best to respond to everybody. It might take me awhile sometimes but I do NOT believe in treating fans like crap. I treat people how I would like to be treated. They are the reason I'm hooked on preforming!
Mega Metal: Do you perfer the Independent federations or the Major federations?
SiNN: If prefer being in the ring with someone who knows what they are doing! NOT some weekend warrior who has never seen the inside of a weight gym and thinks that a wrestling show is his or her private fantasy camp to PLAY with wrestlers that take their craft seriously.
Mega Metal: What has been the biggest crowd you have wrestled in front of?
SiNN: Approximately 20,000 at a WWE show wrestling a dark match. But the most insane crowd was 14,000 in Puerto Rico: Vampiro and I tagged against two guys in masks outdoors in the pooring rain.
Mega Metal: Have you wrestled overseas? Do you have any plans to do so?
SiNN: I have spent collectively about a year in England and I love it there. The weather and food suck but the people are into wrestling! The fans are nuts, they shoot soccer players over there for 'F' sakes! Whales, Scottland and Puerto Rico. I've also had a couple of matches air in Japan but I have never actually wrestled there. But I would really like to do that at some point soon.
Mega Metal: As a wrestling fan, do you have a personal favorite all-time match?
SiNN: Ricky Steamboat vs Tully Blanchard comes to mind. But Jake Roberts vs King Kong Bundy I would say because that was during a time when bad guys only wrestled good guys... Jake and Bundy were both villians and it was just so different that Jake was braking the mold (A prelude to Stonecold Steve Austin).
Mega Metal: Who are some of your favorite wrestlers today?
SiNN: Kurt Angle, Fit Finely, Chris Benoit, Team Canada, Rhyno, AJ Styles, Edge and Christian.
Mega Metal: Tell me about Carnival Diablo and your envolvement with it?
SiNN: Carnival Diablo is a SideShow where I preform feats of pain tollerance: Human Dartboard, Electric Chair, Animal leg-hold Trap etc... The show has some of the best SideShow preformers in the world. Sword swallowers, impalers, glass eaters and a tone more...

Mega Metal: Is there one match you have been in that stands out to be your most memorible match of your career thus far?
SiNN: The human dartboard promo leading into the dog collar match I had with Raven at TNA stands out to me.
Mega Metal: What can we expect to see from you over the next year?
SiNN: Have you ever danced with the Devil in a six sided ring???
Where do the fans want to see SiNN the Carnival Freak wrestle?????????????
Mega Metal: Any last comments?
SiNN: I have just released the WARRIOR 1 Double DVD that I produced this summer in Canada featuring: Mick Foley, Raven, Jimmy Hart, Samoa Joe, Kid Kash, Kamala, Team Canada, Chris Sabin, Gail Kim, Nigel McGuinness, Chad Collyer, American Dragon and a tone of others.
